Southwestern Ontario Fiddle & Stepdance Championships - Tavistock
For 27 years they have been promoting the unique Canadian Art Forms of Canadian Fiddling and Canadian Stepdancing. On Thursday, July 1st there will be a variety show at the pavilion just outside of the Tavistock arena starting at 7:30. Competition starts Friday through Sunday. Canada Day Celebrations - Walkerton

A Canada Day Children's Parade of decorated bikes and wagons will be led by the Legion Pipe Band from the Tot Lot at 11 am followed by entertainment, a Rotary Club BBQ and birthday cake from 11:30 to 1 at Centennial Park. The Rec. Dept. provides supervised Children's games at 1 pm and free public swimming from 2 to 4. Everything is free but donations are appreciated.
